I'm originally from Lower Saxony in Germany but have been in Scotland for a number of years now. I enjoy cooking more complex/time-consuming meals at weekends while throughout the week it'll usually be something quick and easy. I'm fond of casseroles, stews and one pot dishes and generally traditional hearty stuff. Autumn is my favourite season, both nature-wise and food-wise.
