Cream Cheese Sauce
Use as a sauce for green beans, carrots, cauliflower, or broccoli.
Ingredients per 1 portion(s)
| 300 ml | milk |
| 1 tbsp | sugar |
| 90 g | cream cheese |
| 1 tsp | butter |
| 1 tbsp | cornstarch, dissolved in 120 ml water |
| 500 g | peas, frozen |
Cut cream cheese into small pieces and combine with sugar, milk and butter in a saucepan. Stir until mixture comes to a boil. Add dissolved cornstarch to thicken the sauce.
Add peas and bring to boil. Then remove from heat and cool for 2 minutes. Cover.
