Fennel the Italian way

Ingredients

fennel
  olive oil
  salt and pepper
  paprika powder
eggs, beaten
  flour
100 g freshly grated Parmesan cheese
portions

Method

Preparation time: ca. 10 min / Cooking / Baking Time: ca. 20 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Cut the fennel into half and boil in salted water until soft. Beat the eggs and season.

Turn over the fennel in some flour and then in the beaten eggs. Heat some olive oil in a pan and fry the fennel on both sides until brownish. Add the grated cheese and cover the pan.

The dish is done when the cheese has melted. Serve hot.
