Ingredients

5 tbsp Szechuan peppercorns
5 tbsp chili flakes
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp roasted sesame oil
300 ml peanut oil
portions

Method

Preparation time: ca. 10 min Resting time: ca. 1 day / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

In a saucepan heat the peanut oil up to 120°C. Take from the heat, add the remaining ingredients and stir gently. Leave to cool and infuse overnight.

Strain the oil into a bottle. Store in the refrigerator.

Very tasty for stir-fried vegetables.
