Ingredients

225 g sausage meat
150 g plain flour, sifted
150 g polenta or semolina
125 g grated Cheddar cheese
4 tsp baking powder
2 tsp chopped chives or onion
240 ml milk
eggs, beaten
2 tbsp vegetable oil
3/4 tsp salt

Method

Preparation time: ca. 20 min / Cooking / Baking Time: ca. 25 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Sauté sausage meat and drain. Mix together eggs, oil and milk.

In another bowl combine flour, semolina, cheese, sugar, baking powder, chives (onion) and salt. Add the liquid mixture to this and stir until moist. Fold in sausage meat. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full.

Bake 20-25 minutes in 200°C oven.
