Ingredients

4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
500 g fennel, cooked and diced
2 tbsp butter, low fat
60 ml whipping cream
6 tbsp freshly grated Swiss cheese
1 pinch(es) nutmeg
  salt and freshly ground whitepepper, to taste

Method

Preparation time: ca. 15 min / Cooking / Baking Time: ca. 40 min / Grade of difficulty: medium / Calories per portion: 260 kcal

In a large saucepan, cook fennel and potatoes in some salted water until the potatoes are done. Then drain well. Mash the potato and fennel mixture, stirring in butter and cream. Season to taste with salt, nutmeg and pepper.

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Transfer the mash into a shallow casserole dish, sprinkle with the cheese and bake or about 20 minutes.
