Ingredients

500 g smoked ham, cut into 2cm cubes
125 g bacon, diced
200 g carrots, sliced
200 g leek, sliced
5 large potatoes, peeled and diced
1 1/2 kg kale, chopped
  salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Method

Preparation time: ca. 25 min / Cooking / Baking Time: ca. 2 hrs 20 min / Grade of difficulty: medium / Calories per portion: n/a

In a saucepan, bring 1,5l water to a boil. Add the bacon, ham, leek and the carrots. Cover and simmer for 60 minutes. Stir in the kale and cook for 30 more minutes.

Add the potatoes and cook for another 25 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
