Ingredients

8 scoop(s) vanilla ice cream
  cinnamon
  maple syrup
1 tbsp lemon juice
apples, peeled, cored and cut into 6-8 wedges each
2 tbsp sugar

Method

Preparation time: ca. 10 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

In a pan, caramelize the sugar. Add the apples and cook stirring carefully for 1-2 minutes. Pour in the lemon juice and a dash of water. Season with cinnamon and maple syrup. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until the apples are soft.

Scoop the vanilla ice cream into 4 dessert bowls. Pour over the hot apple compote and serve immediately.
