Ingredients

1 tbsp oil
750 g beef mince
2 tbsp tomato puree
500 g canned peeled tomatoes (pelati), passed through a sieve
  salt and freshly ground black pepper
  sugar
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp Italian herbs
  lasagna sheets
450 g frozen spinach, thawed
400 g crème fraîche
100 g freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  butter

Method

Preparation time: ca. 30 min / Cooking / Baking Time: ca. 1 hr 30 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

In a pan, heat the oil and fry the minced meat until brown and crumbly. Add the tomato purée and cook stirring for 1-2 minutes. Pour in the tomatoes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, sugar, oregano and Italian herbs. Cook over low heat for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 175°C. Cover the bottom of a greased casserole dish with lasagna sheets. Top with half of the frozen spinach and 1/3 of the crème fraîche in dabs. Cover with lasagna sheets and pour over half of the meat sauce. Sprinkle with dabs of another third of the crème fraîche. Layer with lasagna sheets, spinach and the remaining mince sauce. Finish with lasagna sheets and the remaining crème fraîche. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and divide butter flakes on top. Bake for 30 minutes.
