Ingredients

100 g bacon, diced
onions, chopped
3 clove(s) garlic, minced
2 tbsp oil
  salt and freshly ground black pepper
500 g beef mince
2 tbsp tomato puree
  sugar
  paprika powder
  cayenne pepper
1 large can(s) tomatoes
400 g macaroni
3 sprig(s) parsley, chopped

Method

Preparation time: ca. 20 min / Cooking / Baking Time: ca. 50 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Roast the bacon in a pan until golden and crispy. Set aside.

Heat the oil in a large saucepan. Fry the minced meat until crumbly. Add the onions and the garlic and cook stirring for some minutes. Stir in the tomato purée and cook stirring for another minute. Season with salt, pepper, paprika powder, sugar and cayenne pepper. Pour in the canned tomatoes and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover with a lid and simmer for at least 40 minutes.

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain.

Stir the bacon and the parsley into the sauce. Season to taste with salt, pepper, sugar, paprika powder and cayenne pepper. Add the cooked pasta and toss. Serve immediately.
