Ingredients

120 g freshly grated Cheddar cheese
75 g soft butter
1 tbsp port
spring onions, finely chopped
1/2 tsp caraway
1/2 tsp mustard powder, coarsley ground
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
75 g walnuts, coarsley chopped
  crackers
2 sprig(s) parsley
  cayenne pepper, to taste

Method

Preparation time: ca. 10 min Resting time: ca. 2 hrs / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Mix the cheese with the butter. Stir in port, onions, caraway, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined. Season to taste with cayenne pepper.

Spoon the mixture into a serving dish. Cover with the walnuts and press the walnuts down lightly into the mixture. Chill for a t least 2 hours.

Serve with crisp crackers and garnished with parsley leaves.
