Ingredients

2 large can(s) corned beef
600 g potatoes, peeled
1 pack(s) ready rolled out puff pastry
  salt and pepper
1 tsp double cream
egg yolk
portions

Method

Preparation time: ca. 10 min / Cooking / Baking Time: ca. 45 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Cook the potatoes in salted water until done.

Line a pie form with puff pastry. Drain and mash the cooked potatoes. Mix the mashed potatoes with the corned beef. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Transfer the mixture into the pie form. Cover with a puff pastry lid.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Whisk the egg yolk with the cream and brush the pie lid with the egg yolk mixture. Bake the pie for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown.
