Pickled Easter Eggs

Ingredients

14  hard boiled eggs
1 l water
1 tbsp thyme, chopped
1 tsp marjoram
2 tbsp dried mixed herbs
1 tbsp basil, chopped
1 tbsp chives, chopped
10 small allspice grains, ground
bay leaves, chopped
2 tbsp salt
portions

Method

Preparation time: ca. 10 min / Cooking / Baking Time: ca. 15 min Resting time: ca. 2 days / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Lightly crack the eggshells with a spoon. Place the eggs into a large jar and add half of the salt and all the herbs.

Bring the water with the remaining salt to a boil and pour over the eggs. Cover the jar and allow to soak for 2 days.
