Ingredients

500 g potatoes
onion, chopped
1 bunch(es) basil, chopped
300 g minced beef
150 g ground pork
30 g breadcrumbs
egg
2 tbsp Worcester sauce
  salt and pepper
200 g Cheddar cheese, diced
1 tbsp mustard
2 tbsp olive oil
3 clove(s) garlic, finely chopped
1 tbsp herbs de provence, dried
1 tbsp almond slivers
 some thyme leaves, chopped

Method

Preparation time: ca. 20 min / Cooking / Baking Time: ca. 35 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Cook the potatoes until done.

Mix the meat with the onion, basil, breadcrumbs and egg. Season with Worcester sauce, salt and pepper and knead until well combined. Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish.

Peel the potatoes, cut in slices and layer on top of the meat mixture. Evenly divide the diced cheese on top.

Mix the mustard with the olive oil, the chopped garlic and the herbs de Provence. Divide the mixture on top and sprinkle with almond slivers.

Bake for approximately 35 minutes at 200°C.

Serve sprinkled with fresh, chopped thyme leaves.
