Dill Sauce for Fish

Ingredients

3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
onion, chopped
2 tbsp dill, chopped
2 cup(s) fish stock or water
1 dash(es) lemon juice
4 tbsp single cream
  salt and pepper
portions

Method

Preparation time: ca. 15 min / Cooking / Baking Time: ca. 20 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

In a saucepan, melt the butter and sauté the onion until lucent. Stir in the flour and cook for 2-3 minutes or until pale yellow.

Pour in the fish stock or water and bring to a boil. Add more stock if necessary. Reduce the heat and cook for approximately 10 minutes. Stir in the parsley, dill and cream. Season to taste with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
