Ingredients

4 large tomatoes, thickly sliced
4 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 clove(s) garlic, thinly sliced
onion, chopped
  salt and freshly ground black pepper
  oregano and thyme
  sugar
portions

Method

Preparation time: ca. 10 min / Cooking / Baking Time: ca. 5 min Resting time: ca. 1 hr / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

In a pan, heat the olive and the sesame oil. Add the tomato slices. Sprinkle the upper side with salt, pepper, sugar, thyme and oregano. Fry for 1 minute over medium heat, then turn the tomatoes and season and fry the other side.

Arrange the tomatoes on a serving plate. Sauté the garlic in the oil. Pour the oil and the garlic over the tomatoes. Sprinkle with onions. Allow to chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.

Serve with fresh bread.
