Fried Fish in Coriander Sauce

Ingredients

fish fillets
2 tbsp butter
onion, chopped
2 clove(s) garlic, minced
125 ml water
1 tbsp tomato puree
1 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tbsp coriander leaves, fresh, finely chopped

Method

In a saucepan, heat the butter and fry the fish from both sides over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Sauré in the pan the onion and the garlic until lucent. Add the ground coriander, cumin, turmeric and chili and fry for another minute. Pour in the tomato purée and the water and simmer for 2 minutes. Add the fish and turn in the mixture. Cook for a few more minutes, stir in the fresh coriander and serve.
