Ingredients

35 g butter
shallots, diced finely
250 ml dry white wine
1.3 kg mussels, cleaned and debearded
1 handful fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp ground black pepper

Method

Preparation time: ca. 15 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

In large saucepan, heat the butter and sauté the shallots until transparent.

Add the mussels and the white wine. Cook over medium heat until the mussel shells open. Season with black pepper.

Pour the mussels and the sauce into a serving bowl, garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with toasted brown bread.
