Creamy chicken and bacon pasta sauce

Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil
chicken breasts, sliced
chicken stock cube
rashers bacon, chopped
3 clove(s) garlic,crushed
  salt and pepper, to taste
300 g cream cheese
400 ml double cream
2 tbsp dried basil
100 g Cheddar cheese, grated

Method

Preparation time: ca. 15 min / Grade of difficulty: medium / Calories per portion: n/a

Heat olive oil in a large pan. Add chicken and bacon and fry for approximately 5 minutes until turning slightly brown. Crumble in stock cube and stir well. Add garlic and cook for a further minute. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add cream cheese, cream and basil, mix well and warm through.

Serve on top of cooked pasta and sprinkle with the Cheddar cheese.

i like cooking with chicken,this recipe is very good to cook for children, good with veg or rice. will cook it over and over again also when i have friends round.
