Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil
500 g mushrooms, diced
shallots, sliced
120 ml dry white wine
240 ml chicken broth
120 ml double cream
60 ml Bourbon whisky

Method

Preparation time: ca. 10 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Sauté shallots and mushrooms in olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook until mushrooms are browned and shallots are tender, about 10 minutes.

Add the wine and boil down until the liquid is reduced, about 4 minutes. Add the chicken broth, cream, and whisky. Simmer until the sauce thickens, about 12 minutes.
