Ingredients

salmon steaks
1 small shallot, minced
1 clove(s) garlic, minced
 some olive oil
  For the lemon cream sauce:
60 ml fresh lemon juice
60 g butter
240 ml single cream
120 ml white wine
  fresh parsley, chopped
  salt and pepper, to taste

Method

Preparation time: ca. 10 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Preheat oven to 200°C.

Sauté the garlic in some oil over medium heat. Add shallots and sauté until soft. Add the salmon steaks and sear on both side in that pan. Transfer everything to a baking dish and place in the oven for about 5 minutes. Remove salmon from pan and set aside, keep warm.

Add the white wine, butter and cream to the pan. Cook over low heat until reduced a little. Add lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.

Place fish on a warm plate and top with sauce and garnish with parsley.
