Kohlrabi Potato Bake


Ingredients per portions

600 g kohlrabi, diced
400 g potatoes, peeled, diced
300 g ham, diced
green onion, chopped
1 tbsp fresh parsley, minced
¼ tsp paprika
⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
6 medium eggs, yolks and whites separated
15 g flour
60 g Cheddar cheese, grated
  salt and pepper, to taste

Method

Preheat oven to 150°C.

Cook potatoes until just tender, about 10 minutes. Steam kohlrabis until just tender, about 5 minutes.

Sauté the ham, green onion and herbs in oil for 2 minutes. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce.

In a large bowl, combine the kohlrabi, potatoes, ham and herb mixture.

In a separate bowl whisk together the egg yolks and the flour. Add to the kohlrabi mixture. Add in the cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Beat the egg whites until stiff. Add to the kohlrabi mixture.

Spoon everything into a baking dish and bake for 40-50 minutes or until the top is golden.

Hoping to make this but what quantity of flour is added to egg yolks as no flour in ingredients list? Thanks

Just added the missing flour...sorry about that. In general you need very little, about 15-20 g.
