Ingredients

eggs, whites only
250 g powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla sugar
3 drop(s) oil of bitter almonds
1 tsp cinnamon
300 g almonds, ground

Method

Preparation time: ca. 30 min / Grade of difficulty: medium / Calories per portion: n/a

With a hand mixer beat the egg whites until stiff and mix with powdered sugar. Put aside 2 tablespoon of the beaten egg white.

Carefully stir in vanilla sugar, oil of bitter almonds, cinnamon and half of almonds to the main mixture. Add remaining almonds and knead. If the dough is sticky use some more almonds.

Roll out ca. 0,5 cm thick. Cut out stars and lay on a baking tray. Brush stars with left over beaten egg white.

Place in oven and cook for 20-30 minutes at 130°C.
