Ingredients

  For the apple mix:
10  apples, peeled, cored, sliced
2 tsp cinnamon
  For the topping:
150 g flour
150 g brown sugar
115 g butter
  For the syrup:
130 g brown sugar
60 ml hot water
  juice of 1/2 lemon
portions

Method

Preparation time: ca. 15 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Apple mix:
Spread apples over the bottom of a lightly greased baking pan or spingform. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Topping:
Combine the flour, brown sugar and the butter and mix until crumbly. Set aside.

Syrup:
Mix the brown sugar with the hot water and lemon juice.

Pour half of the syrup over the apples and then sprinkle the topping mixture on top. Pour the remaining syrup over the topping and bake for 60 minutes. Serve warm.
