Tuna Fish Balls

Gluten-free appetizer

Ingredients

800 g potaotes, peeled, cooked, mashed
200 g tuna fish, canned
1 small onion, chopped
3 medium eggs, separated
  salt and pepper, to taste
  oil, for frying
portions

Method

Preparation time: ca. 10 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Cook potatoes until tender and mash with a fork. Mix together potatoes, tuna fish and egg yolks. Season with salt and pepper.

Beat egg whites until still and then add to mixture. Make into balls and fry in hot oil.

thank you very much for this delicious recipe! it was so easy to make and really yummy! i have added a little bit of rosemary because i do belive that potatoes and rosemary just belongs together and left the onion out because my doughter don't like them and the taste was very nice. this tuna balls we cook quite certain soon again!

This sounds like a really tasty recipe , i'm wondering if it also can serve cold , like for a snack .

Hi Claudia,

I reckon you can serve them as a cold snack as well. But since I am not the biggest fan of cold tuna, especially in salads, I prefer this snack to be served warm rather than cold. Why don't you give it a try?
