Pasta with Tomato Sauce and Tuna

Quick and easy

Ingredients

250 g pasta of your choice, e. g. fettuccine
1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
onions, thinly sliced
3 clove(s) garlic, thinly sliced
800 g can diced tomatoes
100 ml water
370 g can tuna in springwater, drained, flaked
 some flat-leaf parsley
 some freshly shaved parmesan
  salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method

Preparation time: ca. 10 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Cook pasta in salted water al dente and drain.

Meanwhile cook onion and garlic in olive oil until softens.

Add tomato and water and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Stir occasionally and season. Remove from heat and stir in tuna and parsley.

Top with parmesan and serve with garlic bread.

This was an easy to cook simple recipe and quite tasty, but not sure about using parsley, as I think basil would work better!
