Ingredients

1 kg tuna, diced
500 g tomatoes, puréed in a blender
1 medium onion, diced
120 ml dry white wine
4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
bay leaves
1 pinch(es) cinnamon powder
  salt and pepper, to taste

Method

Preparation time: ca. 15 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Add the olive oil to a saucepan and heat over medium heat. Sauté the onion until soft.

Add the tuna. Stir to brown the tuna evenly on all sides. Add the wine and reduce heat. Cook on a simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Add the tomato puree, bay leaves and cinnamon.

Continue to cook and stir until the tuna fish is tender.
