Ingredients

500 g beef strips
300 ml coconut milk
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp red curry paste
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp minced garlic
80 g mushrooms, sliced
bell pepper, chopped
4 tbsp fresh basil, chopped

Method

Preparation time: ca. 20 min / Grade of difficulty: medium / Calories per portion: n/a

Mix the beef strips with oil and garlic in a bowl. Place one batch of strips in a wok and heat wok over low heat. Stir-fry the beef strips in batches, removing each batch when cooked.

Add chopped bell pepper, mushrooms and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

Return beef strips to wok with the vegetables. Add curry paste, fish sauce, coconut milk, brown sugar and chopped basil. Toss to heat through.

Serving suggestions: Serve with boiled rice.
