Ingredients

500 g minced beef
150 g tomato puree
4 medium onion, chopped
1 tbsp cumin, ground
1/2 tbsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp salt
120 ml canola oil
100 g sugar
1 tsp dried mint

Method

Preparation time: ca. 15 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Sauté the onion in a bit of oil in a frying pan for a minute, until brown. Add tomatoes puree, cumin, turmeric, cayenne and salt and sauté for 5 minutes. Add cream, stir well and simmer for 4-5 minutes.

Add minced beef and cook for 6 minutes. Cook to desired tenderness. Add sugar and mint, cook once more until sugar has melted.
