Ingredients

4 large tomatoes, cut in half
3 tbsp butter
180 ml double cream
  salt, to taste
portions

Method

Preparation time: ca. 5 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Melt butter in a large frying pan. Place tomato halves inside, cut side downward. Cook for 5 minutes, then turn tomatoes over. Sprinkle with salt and continue cooking for further 10 minutes. Turn tomatoes again and add the cream to the pan, mixing well with the juice.

When mixture starts to bubble, remove tomato halves to individual serving bowls.

Pour sauce over the tomatoes and serve immediately.
