Ingredients

150 g dark plain chocolate
150 ml soured cream
1 tbsp caster sugar, optional, only if you like it sweeter

Method

Preparation time: ca. 20 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Break the chocolate into a bowl placed in a pan of hot simmering water, add the soured cream as well and stir over a low heat until the chocolate has melted.

Then remove the pan from the heat. As soon as the mixture has cooled down use to fill and top a sponge cake (18/20cm).

Decorate with with a few walnuts or hazelnuts or to your liking.

Note: This filling goes well with my sponge cake recipe which I have also submitted to the database.
