Grilled Leeks
| 500 ml | white wine |
| 200 ml | vegetable stock |
| 6 clove(s) | garlic, crushed |
| 1 large | onion |
| 2 tbsp | butter |
| 1 bunch(es) | leeks |
| 240 ml | olive oil |
Method
Combine the white wine, garlic, chopped onion and butter in a frying pan and bring to a simmer.
Add the leeks and braise for 20 minutes. Allow to cool in the liquid, then cut leeks lengthways.
In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil and chopped garlic. Place the leeks into the bowl with the olive and garlic mixture and allow leave to tmarinate for 60 minutes.
Preheat grill.
Grill the leeks until golden brown.
