Cabbage Cauliflower Salad
| 1 head(s) | cabbage, shredded |
| 1 head(s) | cauliflower, cut into small florets |
| 1 medium | onion, chopped |
| 500 g | bacon, fried, crumbled |
| For the dressin: | |
| 400 g | mayonnaise |
| 100 g | Parmesan cheese |
| salt and pepper, to taste |
Method
Cook cauliflower and cabbage until tender. Sauté the onion until soft and and fry the bacon until crisp. Cool.
Combine cauliflower, onion, bacon and cabbage in a bowl.
Prepare dressing and pour over cabbage and cauliflower mix. Toss well.
Leave to marinate for about 1 hour.
Tip: Omit the bacon to create a vegetarian version.
