Cauliflower Cheese
A nice lunchtime snack or accompaniment to a meat dish with your favourite vegetables

Suggestion: If you are going to use this recipe as part of a main course it might be best to half the given ingredients.
Boil the trimmed cauliflower in boiling water until tender.
Drain the cauliflower and place in a greased ovenproof dish with the florets facing upwards. Set aside.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat and then gradually add the flour until the butter and flour combined have created a paste.
Add the milk and water until the sauce starts to thicken. Cook for about 3-4 minutes stirring continuously to prevent lumps forming. Season to taste and add half of the grated cheese.
Simmer gently until the cheese has melted. Pour the sauce over the cauliflower and sprinkle the rest of the grated cheese over the top.
Cook in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes at 180°C.
