Ingredients

eggs
200 g butter or margarine
230 g sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract, or a little bit vanilla powder
ripe / overripe bananas, medium or large
150 g mixed dark and milk chocolate
250 g all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder

Method

Preparation time: ca. 20 min / Grade of difficulty: medium / Calories per portion: n/a

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Melt the chocolate and mix with mashed bananas.

Mix the flour, baking powder and salt with a spoon in a different bowl and put away.

Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks and beat the egg whites with a little bit of salt until stiff.

Mix the egg yolks with warm butter in a bigger bowl, then add sugar and vanilla and stir until creamy.

Add the chocolate-banana mix to the butter batter and stir a little.

Bit by bit, add the flour-mix while stirring constantly.

Carefully mix the stiff egg white under the dough with a spoon.

Bake in a round, greased baking pan for 40-50 minutes.
