Bread Stuffing
enough stuffing for a 4 to 5 kg turkey| 250 g | bread crumbs |
| 70 g | butter |
| 60 g | celery, chopped |
| 40 g | onions, chopped |
| ½ tsp | poultry seasoning, see databse |
| ½ tsp | sage, ground |
| 2 medium | eggs, beaten |
| salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste | |
| turkey or chicken broth |
Method
Sauté onion and celery together in the butter until softened.
Season with salt and pepper, sage and poultry seasoning and combine with bread and eggs in a large mixing bowl.
Stir in broth until well moistened.
