Ingredients

200 g sugar
100 ml whipping cream
50 g chocolate, unsweetened
60 g unsalted butter
25 tsp vanilla

Method

Preparation time: ca. 10 min Resting time: ca. 4 hrs / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Heat cream and sugar in a small saucepan until sugar dissolves. Bring to the boil, stirring constantly.

Reduce heat and let simmer until thick and syrupy. Gradually add chocolate, butter and vanilla and keep stirring until well blended.

Turn off heat and leave to cool.

When cooled use to frost cookies and cakes.
