Christmas Snowball Cookies

Ingredients

250 g butter
100 g sugar
1 tbsp vanilla sugar
300 g flour
100 g almonds, chopped
100 g desiccated coconut
50 g icing sugar
portions

Method

Preparation time: ca. 35 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy. Slowly add flour, almonds and coconut.

Roll the dough into little balls – this is best done with damp hands.

Place them on a baking tray, covered with baking paper and bake in a pre-heated oven at 190°C for 15 to 20 minutes.

Sift icing sugar over the snowballs as soon as you take them out the oven.

Hint: Bake a double batch, they do not last.

I had no coconut so I replaced the coconut with ground almonds.
It is a fast and easy receipt and the Cookies are very delicious.

Nevertheles the next time I will do them with coconut.

Hi iki

Glad you enjoyed the recipe. I baked them the other day and most of them have disappeared already. You must really try them with the coconut though, I think that's what makes them extra nice.
