BBQ Prawns
a tasty starter| 2 | shallots, finely chopped |
| 1 tbsp | olive oil |
| 1 tbsp | fresh lemon juice |
| 1 tbsp | flat leaf parsley, chopped |
| 1 tbsp | coriander, chopped |
| 2 tsp | ground cumin |
| 1 tsp | turmeric |
| 2 clove(s) | garlic, finely chopped |
| 1 tsp | paprika powder |
| 16 | green king prawns, peeled, deveined, tails intact |
| 4 | bamboo skewers |
Method
Combine shallots, oil, juice, parsley, coriander, cumin, garlic, turmeric and paprika.
Add prawns and mix well until all coated.
Soak bamboo skewers in warm water for about 30 minutes.
Thread prawns onto the skewers and grill each side for about 1-2 minutes or until cooked.
Serve with fresh green salad.
