Ingredients

1 kg cod (kabeljou), fillet
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ready mixed fish spice
1 pinch(es) BBQ spice
1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
3 medium gherkins, finely chopped
  For the Sauce
3 tbsp mayonnaise
50 ml milk
1/2 tsp oil
  pepper to taste

Method

Preparation time: ca. 20 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Go with your fishing rod to the beach and catch a cod, should not take longer than 1 hour. Walk back to your chalet and start cooking.

If you are not in Wlotzka visit your local fish monger to get the fish. Cut fillet into small cubes and place the fish into a large pot with 500ml water and cook until the fish is done. Drain, sliver and allow to cool. Add BBQ spice and fish spice, gherkins and parsley.

Make the sauce by mixing the mayonnaise, pepper, oil and milk and add to the fish.

Let it cool in the fridge. Serve with bread rolls.
