Apple Sauce

goes well with grilled or roast pork, duck and goose

Ingredients

500 g cooking apples, peeled, cored, sliced
2 tsp caster sugar
3 tbsp water
portions

Method

Preparation time: ca. 5 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Put the apples and water into a saucepan and cook until soft and pulpy.

Either use a blender or food processor to purée the apples or rub through a sieve.

Return to the pan, add sugar and reheat gently.

Serve hot or cold.
