Isa's Chocolate Cake

easy to prepare and low-fat

Ingredients

2 medium eggs
80 g sugar
80 g flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
80 g ground almonds
2 tbsp rum
80 g dark chocolate, melted
portions

Method

Preparation time: ca. 15 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Whisk eggs and sugar for a few minutes until creamy, add melted chocolate and rum and give it another good whisk. Then put in flour with baking powder and almonds and stir for another minute.

Pour dough into a small round baking dish and bake on 180°C for around 35-45 minutes. Dough will rise in the middle.

Amazingly easy and delicious. Took about five minutes to prepare (I used a silicone pan - extra speedy!). I baked it for only 25 minutes and 20 probably would have been better (I have a fan-assisted oven and though I had reduced the heat accordingly, it is usually quicker anyway).
I tried to give an excellent rating but I think it has only registered a very good. It was better than very good!!)
