Spicy Lamb Chops
Lamb in a spicy yoghurt sauce| 1 kg | lamb loin chops |
| 250 g | button mushrooms |
| 8 small | potatoes, peeled |
| 200 ml | yoghurt, plain |
| 2 tsp | salt |
| 2 | green chillies, seeded and chopped |
| 1 tsp | roasted masala |
| 2 tsp | garlic, crushed |
| 2 tsp | fresh ginger, crushed |
| 2 tsp | ground cumin |
| 1 tsp | ground coriander |
| 2 tbsp | cooking oil |
Method
Grease ovenproof dish and place lamb chops, mushrooms and potatoes into dish. Mix yoghurt with remaining spices and pour over ingredients in dish.
Bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes at 2oo°C or until meat is cooked and sauce is brown and bubbling.
Serve with a green salad and bread to soak up the sauce.
