Ingredients

  For the Filling:
500 g ground beef
250 g ground pork
egg(s)
1 large onion(s)
15 tbsp parsley flakes
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
300 g rice
  For the sauce:
1 tsp garlic powder
3 tbsp parsley flakes
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
3 large can(s) crushed tomatoes

Method

Preparation time: ca. 30 min / Grade of difficulty: medium / Calories per portion: n/a

Preparing the Meat Filling:

Mix all ingredients for the filling together and mix well. Cook rice until tender. Add rice to remaining ingredients and mix again.

Slice tops off peppers. Remove seeds and cores; wash and drain. Fill the pepper with the mixed filling mixture. Set stuffed peppers in a large sauce pan.

Preparing the Sauce:

In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, garlic, parsley and Worcestershire. Pour over peppers.

Cook over medium heat until filling is hot, then reduce to low heat and simmer, covered. With a fork check whether filling is done.
