Coconut Sesame Crackers
create your own special Cracker| 200 g | whole wheat flour |
| 100 g | medium coconut, unsweetened, shredded |
| 40 g | sesame seeds, or sunflower seeds |
| 30 g | soft butter |
| ¼ tsp | baking powder |
| 250 ml | milk - water mix, or coconut milk |
| some | salt to taste |
| 1 small | onion(s), chopped |
| meat of a coconut | |
| nuts, chopped |
Method
Mix all ingredients together and roll out onto baking sheet using a second sheet on top of the dough, sprinkle with sesame seeds and cut into stripes or squares.
Punch each piece with a fork. Bake for 20 minutes at 220°C until crisp.
Variation: For a more interesting look add some saffron, tomato paste or green pesto to the dough. Crackers can easily be done to your taste. You can add any flavour; just use your fantasy.
Serving suggestion: Best served to cheese or dips.
