Pickling Spice

This mix can be used for pickles and pickled vegetables

Ingredients

6 tbsp mustard seeds
2 tsp cloves, whole
2 tsp allspice, whole
2 tsp black pepper, whole
1 tsp corinander, whole
2 tsp bay leaves, crushed
1/2 tsp dill weed or 1tsp dill seeds
1/4 tsp ground ginger or 1/2 tsp dried ginger bits
10 small red chilli peppers
portions

Method

Preparation time: ca. 20 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Mix all ingredients together and store in an air-tight jar in a cool and dark place. Use 1 tsp per 500ml canning jar.
