Barbecue Sauce
| 40 g | butter |
| 1 small | onion(s), finely chopped |
| 1 clove(s) | garlic, crushed |
| 1 tsp | fresh ginger, grated |
| 3 tsp | red whine vinegar |
| 140 ml | water |
| 2 tsp | French mustard |
| 2 tsp | brown sugar |
| 1 tsp | tomato paste |
| 2 tsp | soy sauce, light |
Method
Heat butter in a pan. Add onion and garlic. Cook until onion is soft. Stir in ginger, vinegar, water, mustard, brown sugar, tomato paste and soy sauce. Bring to boil. Simmer, uncovered, until slightly thickened.
