Ingredients

150 g flour, plain, sifted
1 tsp salt
egg(s)
250 ml milk
  For frying:
50 g butter
  To serve with:
  sugar, caster
  juice, lemon
portions

Method

Preparation time: ca. 10 min / Grade of difficulty: easy / Calories per portion: n/a

Mix flour and salt together in a mixing bowl. Whisk eggs into the flour-mix. Slowly add the milk and then whisk everything together. The batter should be smooth and creamy.

Melt butter in a frying pan. Spoon the batter into the pan. Cooking only takes about a few seconds. Cook it equally long on both sides to get a nice light brown colour.

To serve use lemon juice and caster sugar. Fold pancake or roll it up and eat it with your hands!!

Hi Alexia,

delicious !!!! Very quickly and easily made, the pancakes had just the right consistency. I served them with lemon juice and sugar, as well as strawberries and a chocolate cream I still had. However, I decided not to do any tossing which was probably a good decision :-))

Just one more thing which was a little confusing. In your description you put "Slowly add milk and water". Was that perhaps an error? I only added the milk which was perfectl fine.

I edited the method text and took out the water. That wasn't supposed to be there. Just milk is fine and makes it much tastier anyway.

I just love this quick and easy recipe.

All you need to do with your mobile phone is to connect it via the appropriate cable to your computer. It should then find the external device and you simply copy and paste the picture from the phone picture folder onto your pc. You do need the cable though ... :-)))
