English Hot Pot
| 6 | potatoes |
| 700 g | lamb, shoulder or breast |
| 1 | onions, large |
| salt and pepper to taste | |
| 240 ml | water |
| 1 tbsp | butter, melted |
Method
First place half the potatoes in a casserole (greased), then add meat and cut meat into cubes.
Cover with sliced onion and season with salt and pepper.
Add water.
Place remaining potatoes on top so that they cover the meat completely. Brush with melted butter.
Place in moderate oven at 180°C and cook for 2 hours.
