Doing one of my searches on food issues, I came across an interesting article on the Guardian newspaper website by Andrew Shanahan.

He contends that with the growth of the internet, finding that special ingredient so that you can have a go at the Cheffie recipe you found in a magazine is no longer impossible, with lots of specialist food shops now appearing on-line.

He lists and gives links to a host of specialists offering ingredients such as cuttlefish ink, strange meats such as zebra, or ranges of exotic herbs and spices.

Well worth a look: "A feast at your fingertips"

Hi Androcles,

thanks for that link. Of course I ended up in the cheese society with the result that I won't be able to sleep tonight as I will be thinking of all these fantastic cheeses. Unfortunately they don't deliver to Spain or Germany which is a shame.
